- Upon registration, you may receive a spending limit at sign-up due to the system checks we have in place. However, the starting spending limit is determined by several factors, including the accuracy of personal details provided during the app registration process and internal credit rules.
- To enhance the possibility of increasing your spending limit, we recommend uploading the following documents through the My Koko section of the app:
- National Identity Card (NIC) (front and back)
- Most recent salary slip
- Latest utility bill
- After the document verification, if all your documents are in order, you will receive a spending limit based on our spending limit calculation mechanism.
- If you are an existing user and your spending limit has reduced to zero, it could be due to incomplete document uploads, continuous negative repayment behavior, or app credit rules. We encourage you to maintain positive repayment behavior (ensure payments are made on or before the due date) and upload accurate documents to avoid these types of scenarios.
